There is a crocus outside my house!
It’s wrinkled and fresh and maybe just the slightest bit confused about what day it is, but it saw its chance, and it went for it, and isn’t that all of us? Just looking for our moment to push through?
Y’all! The response to office hours last week was fabulous—thanks so much for your enthusiasm!
As some of you know, I wound up scheduling individual 15-minute sessions to make sure everyone gets their questions answered. Our first week was, in a word, glorious.
If you still want a session, I’m now booking for end of March/ beginning of April—just shoot me a note below.
It’s been such a pleasure to get to reconnect with you, and I’m excited for my upcoming sessions on 2.27.♥
For those awaiting updates on life after Catapult, I also have news on that front. Many Catapult faculty, including myself, will be migrating over to Writing Workshops, a Texas-based platform, that has a dazzling roster of classes, ranging from craft talks to business strategy. I’m psyched to be a part of their community—my first class with them will be in May. ♥
Today is my grandfather’s birthday (he’d be 105!), and—I just learned in a text thread—apparently also my great grandfather’s. Ancestry.com is a wild ride.
I was born on a new moon in Pisces, so while everyone else was having rampaging mood dreams last weekend, I slumbered very peacefully. It’s not quite time to thaw out for the spring, and I’m still doing a fair amount of cozing. Martha’s Vineyard makes it easy—the days are mild, but the nights are cold, and while sunset is now just about at 5:30, that still leaves a lot of dark time to read and watch Castle. And the stars.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy week, and a dreamy entry into Pisces season (the best season!).
xx
